Hours:
Monday to Friday 9 pm - 5 pm EST


Key Accountabilities:


  • Manage daytoday operation of the Retention Renewal Program team; this includes resourcing, training, coaching and motivating staff members through regular feedback, recognition and identifying development opportunities.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and opportunities to improve our customer experience through workflow analysis and responding to customer concerns and inquiries.
  • Provide direction regarding complex escalated queries.
  • Ensure that audit/compliance procedures are communicated and are adhered to by staff.
  • Participate in department projects as required.

  • Proven leadership skills in motivation, development, team building and coaching.
  • Excellent listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and judgment.
  • Strong customer focus, interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence and negotiate, to defuse, reconcile and remedy customer issues.
  • Good performance management skills including hiring and staff development.
  • Highly developed selling, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of residential mortgage business.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong business vision and strategic acumen.
  • Track record of motivating staff to achieve exceptional business performance.
  • Ability to communicate with people at all level of the organization.
  • In depth understanding of Manulife Bank's products, processes and systems would be an asset.
  • Selfmotivated with strong focus on success.
  • Fully committed to leading through change and continuous process improvement.
  • Versatile and ability to learn new tasks/skills quickly.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office programs, such as MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Encourage staff to act independently and effectively.
  • Organized with good analytical abilities and presentation skills.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Salary range is expected to be between
$52,650.00 CAD - $87,750.00 CAD
