Concrete removal and substrate preparation

Installation and removal of simple formwork

Work Site Environment:

Outdoors
Work outside in all weather conditions. (continuous)
Wet/damp
Dusty
Exposure to equipment noise. (occasional)

Physically demanding and handling and lift heavy loads and move equipment and material
Physical strength, strong back, and good work ethic
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Handling heavy loads
Attention to detail
Standing for extended periods
Fastpaced environment, repetitive tasks
Work in awkward positions. (occasional)
Be reliable and capable of working with other workers on the crew
Have a positive attitude and willingness to complete a variety of tasks
Be able to complete tasks as directed with mínimal supervision
Be of good health with no preexisting injuries or ailments that would affect work performance
Understand the safety requirements of the and site regulations affecting their work
Flexibility to work some overtime
Skilled Laborers have a minimum of 3 years of related experience in the construction industry
Grinding, cutting, or chipping steel and concrete as required
Must be able to safely lift loads of 55 lbs.
Must wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment provided as job function dictates
Must attend and participate in all required safety training programs

Work schedule:
Monday-Saturday min 20hr./week (7:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Job Type:
Casual/Part-time for the first 3 month - Potential to change to Full-time after that

Salary:
To be discussed based on experience
