Positions for 2024 Spring:

** Roofing Carpenter around Alberta (accommodation provided).

• Constructing and installing wooden structures and fixtures, such as roof frames, joists, and rafters
  
• Measuring and cutting materials to the required size and shape using hand and power tools
  
• Installing roofing materials, such as shingles, tiles, and metal sheets
  
• Inspecting and repairing damaged roofs and making necessary adjustments
  
• Following safety procedures and guidelines while working at heights and with heavy machinery
  
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  
• Communicating effectively with team members and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects
  
• Keeping tools and equipment clean and well-maintained to ensure optimal performance
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing carpentry
  
• Proficient in using hand and power tools for carpentry work
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
  
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
  
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required

• Work Location: Fort Saskatchewan
  
• Hours: 10-hour shifts (Mon-Fri)/ Overtime Eligible
  
• Duration: ~1 month
