    Description

    Your Opportunity:

    The Provincial Population & Public Health, Communicable Disease Control Program (CDC) is currently recruiting an Administrative Support IV position to support the CDC program. Administrative support duties include providing administrative support to team members within an assigned area of the CDC program; calendar management, scheduling and rotation support; document preparation and clinical resources; meeting preparations and support; arrange and organize equipment for new staff, arrange for necessary training and accesses; receiving and processing notifiable disease laboratory reports and outbreak data, inputting data into various information systems and databases, reviewing data for quality assurance standards; performing timekeeping/payroll data entry and following up on discrepancies and inquiries related to timekeeping. You will demonstrate strong communication, professionalism; demonstrate critical thinking, time management, confliction resolution, and decision-making skills; exercise judgment, discretion and independent decision making across a spectrum of activities; accurately collect and document information in a timely manner; be adaptable in an environment with constant interruptions and short timelines; show accountability and attention to detail; and foster collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team. Successful candidates must be able to work on site and in person on rotation to your assigned CDC office.
