    The Manager, Performance Excellence and Business Intelligence will be responsible for managing performance excellence programs and driving performance improvement initiatives. Key areas of responsibilities include

  • Sets and monitors operations performance KPI and metrics for all levels of operations which include development of the KPI, method of reporting, establishing data owners, maintenance of the KPI, management of control plans, etc.
  • Responsible for the Trak 3 program strategy from a governance and process stand-point to drive focus in the field, including collaborating with the technology team on system investment opportunities.
  • Provides business intelligence and insights on operations performance, key levers and improvement opportunities
  • Owns the overall operations management review cadence which include monthly business reviews and national business reviews and field operation reviews
  • Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the performance Excellence Team with a focus on performance excellence, business hydraulics, and operations dynamics.
  • Responsible for managing and meeting operations performance targets and initiatives;
  • Responsible for monitoring and compliance of Trak 3 activities from a process stand-point to help identify gaps and opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the field.
  • Establish standards and operating procedures for Trak 3 in collaboration with process excellence team.
  • Develop new reporting capabilities to provide line of sight on our performance and identify and action on opportunities
  • Integrate, consolidate and manage scope, resources, timelines and budgets on projects/initiatives
  • Identifies and leads common programs that help improve operations performance across all regions
  • Manage and monitor multiple interdependent performance improvement projects and initiatives across the regions.
  • Oversee and manage performance and ROI on all initiatives;
  • Be the trusted adviser and manage executive communication on all aspects of the program including progress metrics, issues and risks and mitigating actions;
  • To work collaboratively with finance function to ensure tight alignment on financial and operations performance;
  • Conducting career development and performance reviews for team members, providing ongoing support and accountability for achievement;
  • Performing other related duties as required.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Degree in Business Management/Industrial Engineering/BS degree in Engineering or Operations Research or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Project Management skills required-PMP designation preferred but not required
  • Six Sigma tools and techniques
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to develop and present business cases to senior management.
  • Ability to establish work goals, objectives and standards to be achieved by subordinates
  • Ability to performance manage subordinates while keeping manager informed of performance discussions and results.
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of leadership experience in a high availability Supply Chain (Transportation/Network/logistic) environment
  • Experience in working in a complex cross functional environment
  • Frequent interaction with senior management on projects and updates
  • Conveys information fluently, interpreting and clarifying details and explaining rationale.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Productivity and performance measures
  • Arranges training or assignments, give timely coaching, to foster learning and development
  • Has managed resources, timelines and budgets
