ABOUT THE ROLE:


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:


  • Develop, implement, and communicate procurement strategies, policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the endtoend procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Identify costsaving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement spend while maintaining product quality and service levels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT, finance, legal and operational teams, to align procurement activities with business needs and priorities.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to analyze procurement trends, track key performance indicators, and generate reports for management review and decisionmaking.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as vendor instability and price changes.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the software industry. Experience with third party risk management is an asset.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies, driving cost savings, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform procurement decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop highperforming teams in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on driving value and delivering results.
