    Description

    Job Title: Pipeline System Engineer III

    Location: Calgary or Edmonton, AB

    Our client is seeking an Pipeline System Engineer III to join their team. As an Pipeline System Engineer III, you will be part of the engineering department supporting pipeline system operations and projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Description

    • Provide intermediate to senior level pipeline system engineering support for liquids pipeline and facility assets.
    • Participate in scope development for pipeline and facility projects, including pump stations and storage terminals.
    • Review feasibility studies, conceptual designs, process studies, and detailed engineering designs to ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
    • Conduct technical reviews and provide direction on process engineering documents such as PFDs, P&IDs, and control philosophies.
    • Analyze operational data using hydraulic modeling software to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

    Qualifications

    • University degree in Engineering.
    • Minimum of 7 years of progressively complex process and hydraulics engineering experience within the oil & gas industry.
    • Registration as a P.Eng. in the Province of Alberta.
    • Working knowledge of liquids pipeline and facility operations.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
