Responsibilities

  • Create, review and revise QC & QA processes, procedures and work instructions to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent oral/communication skills to conduct virtual & live demonstrations for customers.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases for hardware, software, release, and functional tests.
  • Execute indoor and outdoor test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Generate test analysis reports, and provide useful sights and suggestions for product improvements and enhancements.
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct postrelease/ postimplementation testing
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Support QA/engineer department, sales department, and customers as required.

Requirements:


  • Bachler degree required. BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 1+ year experience in project management and QA methodology.
  • Have a driver license.
  • Have or plan to obtain a drone pilot certificate (company support, PR or citizen required)
  • Strong communication and demonstration skills
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • A proactive, "servicefirst" attitude combined with superior interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects, with tight deadlines, under mínimal supervision

Job Types:

Salary:
$33,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday

  • Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
