RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and acknowledge each and every client with a smile, eye contact and a friendly verbal greeting using the client's name when possible
- Answer, record, and process all client calls, requests, questions, or concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met to clients' satisfaction
- Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa reservation system
- Update the reservation/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of lastminute changes and resolve scheduling issues as needed
- Multitask between answering phones, booking appointments and selling memberships, gift cards and upgrades
- Process client checkins by confirming reservations and assigning RMT or Esthetician
- Process checkouts including resolving any late and disputed charges
- Process payment types, vouchers, paidouts, charges, and provide change
- Address client concerns, requests, or issues either individually or by enlisting the help of others
- Speak with clients using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program
- Other duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and associates
- Polite, courteous and bright telephone manner
- Selfmotivated, mature and reliable
- Friendly and approachable
- Sales focused the ability to meet quotas and goals
- Previous salon/spa or reception experience an asset
- Proven fluency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and expert proficiency in computer keyboarding skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
