Key Responsibilities
Promotions, Offers & Consumer Activation
- Drive the planning and execution of consumer-facing promotions across the network.
- Develop promotional concepts that increase traffic, trial, and incremental revenue.
- Lead the execution of activation plans for national, seasonal, and local initiatives (messaging, channels, creative needs, rollout timelines).
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
- Analyze promo performance (traffic lift, item mix, ROI, margin impact) and deliver recommendations.
Media Planning & Campaign Support
- Contribute to and manage media plans that support promotional and menu initiatives (channels, budgets, flighting, objectives).
- Collaborate with digital and paid media partners to ensure campaigns align with overall goals.
- Track and optimize media performance to improve efficiency and campaign impact.
Menu Strategy, Pricing & Profitability
- Drive execution of menu roadmap activities, including item additions, removals, category optimizations, and product positioning.
- Co-develop pricing recommendations through price architecture analysis, benchmarking, menu engineering, and profitability modeling.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for price adjustments that balance value perception and margin improvement.
- Collaborate with Operations to understand food cost inputs and identify margin opportunities.
Innovation & LTO Development
- Lead execution of Limited Time Offers (LTOs): concepting, validation, testing, and marketing rollout.
- Manage timelines, operational alignment, and execution of LTO campaigns.
- Evaluate LTO success through sales data, customer feedback, and operational insights.
- Recommend which LTOs should evolve into permanent menu items.
Customer Research & Insights
- Conduct customer research (surveys, feedback, operational insights, competitive reviews) to inform menu and promotional decisions.
- Identify emerging QSR trends in flavors, formats, and consumer behavior.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations that support product innovation, pricing, and promotional planning.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Manage ongoing competitive menu and pricing reviews across QSR, fast casual, and adjacent categories.
- Identify white spaces, risks, new menu opportunities, and pricing threats.
- Monitor competitor promotions, LTOs, and product launches and prepare intelligence summaries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Digital Commerce & Growth and Content/Social teams to ensure full alignment.
- Ensure promotions, menu changes, and pricing strategies are executed consistently across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Provide clear briefs and direction for creative and content deliverables.
Analytics & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards for promo performance, menu mix, pricing effects, and innovation lifecycle.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Use sales data and operational inputs to guide decision-making.
Qualifications & Profile
- Experience in menu strategy, promotions management, pricing, or product marketing—ideally in QSR, food service, hospitality, or multi-location retail.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to connect data to strategic recommendations.
- Experience with menu engineering, pricing, consumer insights, or product development.
- Ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Bilingual French/English preferred.
