Job Overview:
The Quality Assurance Engineer will lead True North Printed Plastics's Quality department initiatives. This includes development and maintenance of the QMS, ISO9002 certification.
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will work closely with the production team to ensure the manufacturing processes are capable and are able to deliver defect-free finished goods to True North Printed Plastic's end users.
This includes supporting initiatives in process development, process improvement, and corrective actions.The Quality Assurance Engineer will uphold and promote True North Printed Plastics Inc. values and code of conduct.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop the Quality Management Systems for True North Printed Plastics's product line and production processes
- Create the supporting documentation for the QMS as required.
- Manage/maintain the QMS (including document control, audits, data collection, etc.)
- Establish inspection requirements for raw materials
- Work with suppliers to address nonconformance issues
- Establish quality standards and specifications for the production processes
- Establish inprocess inspection processes
- Assist production teams with trouble shooting and implementing corrective actions
- Provide training on quality systems and in processe inspection requirements to production employees as required
- Lead True North Printed Plastic's efforts to achieve and maintain ISO9002 certification
- Lead True North Printed Plastic's efforts to achieve a Quality focused environment.
- Maintain current knowledge base of manufacturing standards, regulations and corresponding compliance requirements.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 35 years work experience in a Quality Assurance role for a medical device manufacturer
- Formal training in Quality Assurance programs
- Medical experience preferred
- Solidworks or similar 3D cad experience preferred

Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to 1964 Muskoka Beach Road, Gravenhurst
- Ability to work 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday with occasional overtime.
Salary:
$35,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
