Provide first line technical support to users experiencing computer hardware, software, printers and other peripheral problems. Consult technical documents, manuals and user guides to research and implement solutions.


KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS:


  • Provide support for a variety of devices including workstations, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices and other peripherals.
  • Source, provision and deploy IT equipment to end users.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and implement fixes for a variety of technology.
  • Provide professional and timely enduser support for internal customers.
  • Liaise with 3rd party regarding maintenance and troubleshooting of phone system.
  • Setup, maintain and troubleshoot VPN connectivity.
  • Employee Access set up/termination.
  • Inventory management of all IT assets
  • Identify IT difficulties and provide advice and training to end users.
  • Ensure all software and licensing are current.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new/relevant IT technologies that would bring increased efficiencies to the company.
  • Manage Helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Provide timely communication to staff regarding new initiatives and threats.

QUALIFICATION &

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Post-Secondary Education in a related field
  • Minimum of 13 years' experience in a corporate service desk role or equivalent experience
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting legacy and newer desktop/laptop hardware.
  • Troubleshooting printers, scanners and other various peripherals
  • Troubleshooting and supporting mobile devices: iPhone, iPad, Android
  • VPN Knowledge
  • Experience with IT Ticketing System.
  • Motivated to provide exceptional customer service to internal employees.
  • Prioritize and complete work independently with mínimal supervision and errors.
  • Maintain a professional appearance
