Our activity fields are in electrical, dimensional, mechanical, thermodynamic, frequency, time, photometric and radiometric metrology.


Position Overview:


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Calibrate and generate calibration reports for measuring or generating instruments electrical disciplines
  • Maintain secondary and/or working calibration standards.
  • Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of precision equipment.
  • Identify outofspecification conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc.
  • Prepare measurement uncertainty budgets.
  • Adapt existing calibration equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurement tasks for which they are not principally used.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Engineering, science degree or equivalent combination of education or experience (e.g., engineering technologist/technician or recent related experience
  • Must possess good written and oral, communication skills.
  • Basic ability to troubleshoot repair, align and optimize precision equipment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficient in use of MS Word and Excel.
  • Must have very good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Must be a selfmotivated, work as a team player, and follow written procedures.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
