Description

• Develop relationships and experiences for customers by building relationships and appropriately qualifying customer needs
• Educate customers on cannabis within the boundaries of what is allowed
• Conduct age verification with customers before discussing product
• Be a responsible vendor of cannabis and provide accurate/appropriate knowledge about product when assisting customers to meet their needs while still encouraging responsible cannabis use
• Maintaining uptodate knowledge regarding new and emerging products, trends, and updated to the National/Provincial Cannabis Act
• Ensuring correct picking, packing and completion of orders
• Checking identification and payment methods of online/prepaid orders
• Ensure cleanliness of store and supporting in the upkeep of shelving and displays
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor
• Keeping up to date on company events, rollouts, procedures and communication
• Adhere to all company training, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
• Adhere to all provincial regulations surrounding the sale of cannabis and COVID19 guidelines
• Flexible schedule and willing to work weekends and holidays

• Minimum 13 years in retail
• Previous cannabis sale experience is an asset, but not necessary
• CannSell Certification required
• Criminal background check required
• Ability to ensure attention to detail
• Proven experience driving sales and creating positive customer experiences
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong integrity and personal character
• Strong industry knowledge and understanding of the regulatory landscape
• Knowledge of Dutchie, Weedmaps and Leafly is an asset but not necessary
