Required Experience:

At least six months of experience with various types of transportation equipment

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Good computer skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to read/use a map

Job responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily administration of the shipping department.
Use of AS400 system for reports and expediting orders.
Responsible for planning shipments, expediting orders and requesting carriers.
Work with sales and production to ensure on time delivery.
Produce pick lists, packing slips and customs papers.
Maintain a shipment screen/plan.
Coordinate shipments with the shipping personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
