General Overview

You come into work every day knowing that you are a key leader in supporting development of Facilities Services delivery solutions, and assisting with operations and financial issues for existing and upcoming major infrastructure projects.

You love to work on complex building and major infrastructure projects such as courthouses, residential complexes and hospital. When you walk down the street, you look at major projects and think "I know how that came together".

As an Operations & Maintenance Coordinator with a focus on the financial aspects working with EllisDon Facilities Services, you will work with the Advisory, Finance, Technical and Pursuits teams to support the service delivery elements of our portfolio and upcoming pursuits pipeline, helping ensure that long-term operational factors are given due consideration and support through pursuit, design, construction, and operations phases.

You as a 'Operation & Maintenance Coordinator' will:

Assisting with Operations and Maintenance solutions and process development for Public-Private Partnership projects, as well as other proposals and/or qualifications
Assisting in the development of financial models used to bid RFPs, including lifecycle cost models, labour analysis, and estimating of facilities yearly operations and maintenance costs
Assisting in the development of tools to be utilized by the bid team. Tools include development of benchmark operations data, development of bid submission databases and financial models
Working on other ad hoc projects including submission reviews, bids, life=cycle analysis, risk management, consulting, asset and BIM population, etc
Participating, as required, in architectural, mechanical and electrical design meetings and coordinate key requirements and deliverable specifics to facilities, operations, and maintenance
Responsible for document control, distribution of technical updates and lessons shared along various site teams
Assist our business operations support solutions and mobilization teams
Analyze current models to support billing of capital works at all projects
Track changes at sites to ensure models are kept uptodate and accurate
Track changes of the Consumer Price Index and Collective Agreements, provide uptodate billable rates and inflation adjustment numbers to the site teams of the Finance team

Is this the right role for you?

Business management, finance or engineeringfocused degree, technical diploma or equivalent combinations of technical training, commercial and facilities management experience
Industry memberships considered an asset
Strong analytical and presentation skills with the ability to think on your feet and interact with intermediate and executive level team members
Must complete a background clearance check as a condition of employment
Infrequent travel to operational sites as needed
