They are looking to add a Senior Environmental Engineer to their Greater Toronto Area operations.     The Environmental Engineer will play a key role in the expansion of the company in Canada.

    What you will do in the role:
  • Acts as a project engineer for water and wastewater projects across Ontario overseeing investigations, operational troubleshooting, analysis, process engineering design, technology assessment, and leading the preparation of technical memoranda and reports.
  • Acts as a process engineer to contribute to mechanical and/or hydraulic design during the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Collaborates with Sales and Marketing to offer input into budget preparation, as well as liaising with clients to promote business development, enhance reputation, and foster relationships with municipal clients in the water sector.
  • Engages in relevant professional societies within the industry.
    Works alongside multidisciplinary team members to gather, consolidate, and coordinate technical information to support projects and proposals.
  • Provides supervision, guidance, mentoring and technical support to engineering and technical staff.
  • What you will bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or other relevant area of study.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario.
  • A minimum 7 years' experience in water and wastewater engineering/processes including notable experience in the Ontario market.
  • Demonstrated experience spearheading and finalizing technical, process, and design tasks for water projects.
  • A proven ability to work in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to delivery high quality projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Experience with business development activities, such as creating proposal scopes and resource requirements tailored to municipal clients.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, project management software and industry-specific software.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize work and pivot accordingly to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met.
