- This is an officebased position during the probationary period.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
- OHIP and Non OHIP (Third Party) billing.
- Calls to Service Ontario for Health card verification
- Communicate client errors and missed billing opportunities to the Client Care team.
- Assist the Client Care team with RA file reconciliation
- Other duties as assigned
Client Care account management advancement opportunity:
- Work with clients directly to build strong relationships and understand their needs
- Respond to billing questions, set up and process specialty medical billing
- Investigate and resolve claim rejections
- Audit and send Remittance Advice Files
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Post Secondary degree is an asset.
- Diploma in medical office administration is an asset.
- Medical terminology certification is an asset.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of OHIP billing experience required.
Skills:
- Strong reading comprehension, writing, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Intermediate computer skills; quick learner of medical billing software.
- 50+ wpm typing speed.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work as part of a team, or independently with mínimal supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude and take ownership of work quality.
Job Types:

Salary:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour
