Description

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented and superb organizer to join us as a Logistics Coordinator to organize and coordinate the PureLogic Warehouse.

You will support the Procurement Representative and act as the liaison between the Account Executives, Sales Engineers, manufacturers, and distribution, ensuring deliveries are completed on time.

You will handle cross-border shipments while improving warehouse and procurement procedures and processes._


Responsibilities / Activities

Warehouse Logistics

  • Act as the point person for warehouse deliveries.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage the most efficient shipments to remain costeffective, combining shipments based on their routes and timeline.
  • Manage crossborder & overseas freight coordination and documentation.
  • Manage and respond to incoming requests for shipments from and to the office, Including quoting of freight, customs etc.
  • Maintain Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) database for PureSpirit and PureLogic.
  • For timesensitive projects, expedite shipments to ensure timely arrival to the customer.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe work environment.
  • Support for the Procurement department (will be required to backfill for vacations and fully step into this role).

Procurement

  • Support Procurement Representative with purchase orders preparations for Sales and Inside Sales teams, negotiating directly with distribution and vendor community.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide shipment confirmations and tracking information to customers.
  • Help maintain and further qualify sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales, Account Executives and System Engineers to determine solutions which best meet client needs.
  • Crosstrain with Inside Sales Representative role, supporting sales quoting where needed.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of procurement procedures & processes.

Skills and Attributes

  • Minimum 3 years related experience with Logistics, warhouse management VAR or related field.
  • Knowledge of duties/ taxes, tariffs, crossborder shipments
  • Knowledge of both Government and commercial IT procurement procedures.
  • Knowledge of NMSO/NESS/DISO/PISA procurement policies and procedures.
  • Industry supply chain understanding and manufacture contacts.
  • Demonstrates sales aptitude, good listener, selfmotivated.
  • Strong attention to detail, investigative and committed to
  • Well organized with effective time and activity management skills.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong ability to provide outstanding customer service to both interval and external clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong organisational and judgement skills.
  • Quick problemsolving skills with solutions that benefit both company and customer.
  • Systems literacy and proficiency in MS Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
  • ERP/CRM/Accounting Software experience (NetSuite).
  • Quick learner with acute attention to detail.
  • Strong mathematical skills and retention of data.
  • Self confident with the ability to work well in a fastpaced environment.
  • Common sense and levelheadedness.
