Part-Time French Teacher

As a tutor, teacher and mentor at
Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible for providing superior individualized academic support to our students.

You are joining a dynamic team that will work with you to make sure that you make a difference in lives of each and every student you have the opportunity to work with.


Essential Job Functions

  • Instruct students on an asneeded basis
  • Report student progress
  • Prepare teaching materials, when applicable
  • Attend training workshops
  • Complete administrative tasks
  • Achieve _Real Life Results_ for each student Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student's individual Goal Sheet our guideline and benchmark to providing individual success for each student we work with

Requirements:


  • Ontario certified teacher (flexible at the Centre Director's discretion)
  • Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
  • Vulnerable Sector Checks to be completed if not done recently
  • Able to work both as a part of a team and independently
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities
  • Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment
  • Excellent organizational skills

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)

- tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
