- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to design and produce functional, preliminary, and detailed design drawings for a wide variety of roads, sewer and watermain and land development projects;
- Preparation of detailed engineering drawings for private & municipal projects, including plan, profile, and section drawings;
- Proactively advance design techniques and procedures to support designers, project managers and technicians;
- Preparing plan, profile and section drawings and earthwork volumetric calculations;
- Preparing presentation graphics and report figures;
- Proactively advancing design and modeling techniques to support designers, project managers and technicians;
- Coordination of drawings with other design team members and sub consultants;
- Coordination of drawing filing;
- Occasional on-site work as required; an
- Other duties as assigned.
- Diploma/certificate in Civil Engineering from a civil engineering technology program;
- Foundational proficiency in design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D;
- Experience working as part of a project team in a consulting environment is considered an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task and work on a number of projects concurrently;
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment;
- Membership, in good standing, with Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT), is an asset; and
- A valid Ontario driver's license with access to a vehicle.

We are open to applicants who just recently graduated or if you have a few years' experience and you're looking for a new opportunity
These roles will have you joining either our Private Sector Land Development Group or Public Infrastructure Group.
With experience and mentoring, candidates will work on drawings from conceptual stage and progress them through the design process working collaboratively with our engineers and senior technicians.
