    Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Paver Operator to join our team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining asphalt paving equipment to ensure the successful completion of asphalt construction projects.

    The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of asphalt materials, construction techniques, and be able to work efficiently as part of a paving crew.


    Location – Anywhere from Squamish to Hope, BC
    Timing – 7:00am – 7:00pm (6 Days, Nights required too)

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate Asphalt Paving Equipment: Utilize asphalt pavers, rollers, and other heavy equipment to lay asphalt on roads, driveways, and other surfaces according to project specifications.
    • Material Inspection: Inspect asphalt materials to ensure they meet quality standards and adjust equipment settings accordingly.
    • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for asphalt placement by grading, leveling, and cleaning as needed.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the paving crew and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure a smooth workflow.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on asphalt paving equipment to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues.
    • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and the team.
    • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of the asphalt placement, making adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired finish.
    • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the paving process.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as an Asphalt Paver Operator or similar role in asphalt construction projects.
    • Knowledge of asphalt materials, construction techniques, and equipment operation.
    • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
    • Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
