Director of Client Services at our Head Office location in Truro, Nova Scotia.


The Director of Client Services is accountable to the CEO for the provision of leadership, guidance, and direction to the Program and Centre Managers as they strive to provide the highest quality as it relates to operational standards and services.

The key responsibilities will be the administration of the Nova Scotia Works employment assistance service (NSEAS) agreement, Department of Community Services Work Activity Program agreement and employment support programs which support the overall organization's program delivery.


Roles & Responsibilities
The Director of Client Services ensures that funder and client goals are met.

They will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, managing client inquiries and concerns, and providing guidance and training to the team.


Leadership


Provide leadership to all Futureworx operational & program managers (4+), motivating them to follow Futureworx methodologies and policies to ensure excellence is achieved in program and service delivery.


  • Oversee and support the human resource management of managers and associated staff teams (20+)
  • Lead change management process for staff and agreement expectations as required.
  • Manage performance, provide constructive and respectful feedback to encourage and enable performance excellence
  • Facilitate organizational collaboration that aligns and moves forward our vision.
  • Committed to and able to implement diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility best practices.

Visionary
Seeks out and brings forward opportunities to innovate and expand the delivery of Futureworx projects, products, and services.


Decision Maker


Solicits input from staff and seeks expert advice as needed to make decisions regarding client engagement and outcomes; changes to the program(s) processes and/or policies; project expenditures within prescribed budgets; HR management including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and reallocation of staff within operational entities, as well as staff development and training.


Financial Management


In collaboration with the Finance Team, will ensure that financial and physical resources related to Futureworx programs and products contracts are managed in an efficient and effective manner for budgets exceeding $2m+ annually.


Communication


Maintain excellent external and internal relationships with all stakeholders related to the delivery of existing and potential Futureworx programs and products.

Support the implementation of a public relations/communications strategy related to operations.


Board Support
Provide information to the Board of Directors as required by the CEO including a monthly operation(s) summary. Attend and present to the BOD as required by the CEO.
