JUNIOR FINANCE OFFICER
Full-Time Permanent Position

Competition# MCFSA-JFO

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, 37.5 hours weekly

Classification and Salary:
FI1 $50,403 - $60,238 annually


Location:
Winnipeg, MB

Vacation: 4 Weeks' Vacation + 3 Wellness days per year


Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Junior Finance Officer is responsible for supporting finance management in maintaining the financial information system records for the Métis Child and Family Services system.

This includes assigned account reconciliations, revenue, and expenditure account review, maintenance of sub-ledger accounts, month-end working paper preparation, accounts receivable administration, assisting with financial reporting, program accounting, and ad hoc reporting.


Prior to commencing employment, the successful applicant will be asked to provide satisfactory results of a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, a Child Abuse Registry Check, and a Prior Contact Check upon hire at their own expense. A valid Manitoba driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle are requisites as travel within and outside the city are required.
