    Area of Interest: Finance and accounting A career as a Senior Indirect Tax Compliance Analyst in National Bank's Finance sector means acting as a professional reference in the team, participating in the definition of strategic orientations and policies related to your field, as well as contributing to the maintenance of partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders within the framework of joint projects. It is thanks to your solid experience in accounting and particularly your knowledge of indirect taxes that you will lead large-scale projects that require a high level of experience and expertise.
    Your job
    • Ensure commodity tax compliance (GST-HST-QST-PST) for various entities within the NBC Group
    • Carry out the control and analysis of various accounting or financial transactions to ensure their compliance with the legislation in force
    • Support our various partners in the Finance and business sectors in decision-making
    • Actively participate in accounting and government audits
    • Adapt work tools and analyses according to the needs and new activities of the sector
    • Ensure the development, implementation, monitoring and control of systems, tools and work processes and formulate recommendations in order to optimize the efficiency of operations and the quality of financial informationYour job
    Your team Within the Finance sector, you will be part of a team of 4 colleagues and will report to the Director, Commodity Tax Compliance. The team is responsible for accounting, controlling and reporting commodity taxes as well as government audits. This position will allow you to develop in the field of indirect taxes for financial institutions. In particular, you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about the activities of the bank and its subsidiaries. You will join a dynamic team in which everyone collaborates to achieve a common goal.
    Prerequisite
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting completed and 6 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in accounting and 4 years of relevant experience
    • Advanced knowledge with Excel
    • Ability to work with multiple systems and subsystems to extract information needed for accounting analysis
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Respect for deadlines, rigor, meticulousness
    • Strong team player
    • Developed sense of autonomy and organization
    • Have a strong ability to adapt to changes
