Customer Service Supervisor - Georgetown, Canada - Communications & Power Industries
Description
Position Duties:
- Administer with the receipt & distribution of new orders.
- Manage & Delegate with the team, Order entry into Current System and New System when executed.
- Manage the CSR team with order requirements working with Operations and Planning.
- Communicate & Support Program Managers to ensure customer needs are met in accordance with Customer Expectations.
- Support when required with preparation of shipping documentation including working with forwarders for freight quotes for export shipments.
- Managing workflow to ensure all deadlines are met and update indicators for periodic reports.
- Manage coverage schedule for vacation and absences.
- Evaluate individual performance against objectives and coach team members as needed.
- Provide training to new hires and to existing employees
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent with 4 5 years experience in a related field of work
- Excellent PC Skills, including MS Office and knowledge of business systems.
- Knowledge of transportation of dangerous goods policies/procedures an asset
- Knowledge of Transportation Knowledge for shipments using Forwarders and or Carriers such as FEDEX and DHL along with Export documentation
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
