Description

Position Duties:

  • Administer with the receipt & distribution of new orders.
  • Manage & Delegate with the team, Order entry into Current System and New System when executed.
  • Manage the CSR team with order requirements working with Operations and Planning.
  • Communicate & Support Program Managers to ensure customer needs are met in accordance with Customer Expectations.
  • Support when required with preparation of shipping documentation including working with forwarders for freight quotes for export shipments.
  • Managing workflow to ensure all deadlines are met and update indicators for periodic reports.
  • Manage coverage schedule for vacation and absences.
  • Evaluate individual performance against objectives and coach team members as needed.
  • Provide training to new hires and to existing employees

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent with 4 5 years experience in a related field of work
  • Excellent PC Skills, including MS Office and knowledge of business systems.
  • Knowledge of transportation of dangerous goods policies/procedures an asset
  • Knowledge of Transportation Knowledge for shipments using Forwarders and or Carriers such as FEDEX and DHL along with Export documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
