    Location North Vancouver What you'll do Capilano University is located on the territories of the xwməθkwəỷəm (Musqueam), shíshálh (Sechelt), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and SəỈílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

    We also deliver programs and courses at the Ts'zil Learning Centre, which is owned and operated by the LíỈwat Nation.

    The English Department at Capilano University seeks to fill multiple non-regular positions with a Fall 2024 start date.

    We are seeking innovative teacher-scholars to design and teach writing and literature courses at the undergraduate level at both North Vancouver campuses and our new Squamish campus.

    The successful candidates will show a strong commitment to mentoring students from a wide range of backgrounds. What you'll bring Candidates must have experience teaching writing and literature at the undergraduate level. Scholars in all fields of Anglophone literature and creative writing will be considered.

    A Master's degree in English (or closely related field) is required; a PhD in English (or closely related field) or near-completion at the time of application is preferred.
