Required Abilities, Qualifications and Experience:
- extensive academic training, professional preparation, and qualifications in all areas of this teaching assignment
- demonstrated experience and ability to provide leadership, co-teaching, and planning to assist classroom teachers and staff to integrate Indigenous content
- demonstrated experience and ability in supporting teachers' learning, thinking, and reflecting for the purpose of Indigenizing Curriculum
- demonstrated ability and recent experience in communicating, consulting, coaching and collaborating with colleagues in Indigenizing Curriculum
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Stó:lo culture and history
- demonstrated commitment to collaborate for implementation of Halq'eme'ylem Language in cross-curricular lesson planning
- demonstrated ability to collaborate and plan presentations for district, school and staff learning and/or pro-d events
- demonstrated evidence of strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be innovative and creative in order to support students learning
- demonstrated excellent organizational skills, classroom management and collaborative work habits
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Response to Intervention and Instruction
- demonstrated recent experience in elementary, middle, or secondary
- valid BC driver's license
