Roles and Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Register clients and assist those who require it with the interpretation of various forms in the waiting room
Triage multiple files and prioritize daily tasks
Receive payments from clients, record and update financial information in the system; basic accounting tasks
Maintain inventory of office supplies, place orders and confirm receipt of supplies
Protect clients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting required changes
Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic activities

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of similar work experience
Medical reception, Hospitality, restaurant hostess or retail background/experience
Excellent communication skills with strong customer service focus
Very good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Strong organizational skills
Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Work autonomously and demonstrate initiative and good judgment
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Previous medical experience (asset)
