We are currently seeking a motivated, customer service focused individual for the position of
Administrative Assistant within our
Delta, BC branch.

This is a full-time, permanent position, that reports directly to the Administrative Manager.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing efficient and timely administrative support to the branch.
  • Providing accurate inventory functions and controls.
  • Ensure policies, procedures and standard operating procedures are being followed.
  • Provide pleasant, effective and reliable direction of incoming calls to all departments
  • Distribute incoming mail
  • Distribute and prepare incoming and outgoing courier mailbags
  • Support shipping and receiving departments
  • Purchase office and shop supplies
  • File work orders in an alphanumeric system
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable
  • Billing and Functions
  • Support all additional administration requirements necessary
  • Special projects as assigned

Education and Skills Required:


  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills
  • Attentive to detail with ability to accurately input data into computer system
  • Selfmotivated, professional and courteous
  • Prior accounting experience in accounts payable a strong asset
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proven results both independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic with a high level of integrity
  • A basic understanding of manufacturing business cycle transactions
  • 12 years of previous office experience
  • Postsecondary education in the field of commerce

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
