What role will you play?:
Reporting to the IT Partner, the Program Manager is accountable for handling various tasks simultaneously in support of the IT Partner for the effective administration of the business subdomain (BSD).
The Program Manager will assist the IT Partner on all aspect of BSD management and administration and will include formulating and/or executing on strategies and policies, supervising and/or reporting on the performance for programs, projects, or individuals as assigned, managing/overseeing the budget, hiring, coaching or training personnel where assigned.
In addition, this role will be the acting IT Partner when the IT Partner is unavailable.What you'll be responsible for:
- In collaboration with the IT Partner, ensure that the scope of the projects within the BSD align with business priorities and coordinate the work across a portfolio of projects
- Provide administrative support, lead, guide, and manage all aspects of the BSD where assigned
- Together with the Planning and Intake, and the IT Partner, develop resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the daytoday operational activities
- Resolve any risks, issues, and any conflicts impeding in the successful operations of the BSD where assign
- Promote collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders and maintain excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organization
- Fill the role of Acting IT Partner when the IT Partner is unavailable
What does it take for this role to be yours?:
- Minimum of 10-15 years' experience of contributing to the success of a range of midsize-to-large initiatives with above-average levels of complexity and business criticality
- Minimum 8 years' experience managing large, complex investment budgets
Additional skills that set you apart:
- Project Management: experienced in managing projects/programs; comprehensive knowledge of project/program management methodologies and tools, including Agile methodologies
- Financial Management: strong understanding of key concepts of financial processes such as budgeting, financial modeling, ROI development etc.
- Delivery methodology: knowledge and experience in agile / scrum / iterative Development
Education and certification:
- Academic : university degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field (required), degree in Business Administration (MBA) (Asset)
- Certifications : PMP, ITIL foundations (Asset), Agile (Asset)
