Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct dance classes for students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their dance skills
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum that align with the goals of the dance studio
- Coordinate and organize dance recitals and performances
- Ensure the safety of students during dance classes
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dance instructor or in a related role
- Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to work effectively with students of different ages and skill levels
- Early childhood education or tutoring experience is a plus
- Ability to cook or provide snacks for young children during breaks
- Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and focus during classes
- Passion for dance and the ability to educate and inspire students
