Georgian Bay Spirit Co. is looking to hire Summer Smash Team Members based in the Greater Toronto Area. Gain hands-on marketing and promotions experience with Canada's most-awarded craft spirits brands while travelling and executing awesome events across the province

Duration of Contract:
May 2024 to September 2024

What You'll Be Doing:

Making it Happen - Event planning and logistics, set-up and sampling/brand representation events (golf tournaments, concerts, festivals, private parties) across Ontario. You'll lead the execution of sampling, setting up signage/displays, merchandise, and promotional materials.

Keeping Your Ducks in a Row - Organization of sample product, promotional materials, and swag.

Content Creation - You will be documenting your Summer with Georgian Bay Spirit Co by capturing engaging content to be featured on our various brand's social platforms.

Merchandising & Marketing - you'll be dabbling into various aspects of the world of sales & marketing. From merchandising and representing our brand at retail stores to periodically helping with projects at our very own Georgian Bay Distillery - home to our Distillery Shop

You'll Have a Voice - Share observations/key learnings with our Sales and Marketing Teams, including pre
- and post-event reporting to ensure flawless future planning and execution.

You've done this before Past work experience related to events, promotions, sales and/or customer service is a great first step.
Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. We will work hard and play hard, we promise
The ability to curl two plates. Just kidding, the ability to lift 30lbs. is more than enough (No lifting restrictions)
You are Smart Serve Certified and understand Ontario's rules and regulations when it comes to sampling/serving. We have a no nonsense policy when it comes to the safety of our staff and consumers.
Must currently have and maintain a valid Ontario driver's license with no limitations/restrictions.
As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check.
