+Responsibilities
- Model best practices of teaching with leaders
- Consistently enforce SAIT Summer Camps policies and procedures with children, youth, staff, families, and the public Promote positive and respectful team atmosphere and work to create a cohesive staff unit Manage stress effectively being a source of stability to camp leaders Experience supervising peers adults Excellent classroom people management skills both campers adults Ability give receive direction Creating rapport all staff maintain trusting cohesive work environment Provide support mentorship for leaders volunteers Educate train camp leaders lesson planning conflict resolution Develop trust respect administration staff create positive camp atmosphere Discreet tactful sensitive information High degree professionalism Able work well team independently Communicate parents guardians child experience at camp address concerns required Train staff inclusion processes Discuss camper accommodations strategies parents guardians Answer phone email inquiries communicate professional friendly manner Organize records input sensitive data according SAIT policies Assist various office administration tasks Provide support one one small large group settings Mediate conflict integrity consistency Substitute ill absent camp leaders Help provide safe healthy environment for campers thrive Demonstrated experience working children varying needs React adapt quickly emergency situations involving youth Display strong ability manage stressful situations calmly effectively
