Description
Responsibilities:
- Displays the willingness to learn and understand Daily production targets.
- Completes daily Equipment Inspections and communicates any preventive maintenance and repairs to his supervisor.
- Completes daily servicing of equipment he or she operates.
- Demonstrates good house keeping of the equipment he or she operates
- Completion and submission on a timely basis of all documentation as required. This includes, equipment inspection reports, time tickets, fuel, and credit card receipts
- Abide by all Secure and customer specific safety procedures
- Ensure all Secure safety policies and procedures are followed
- Responsible for knowing and following the Standard Operating Procedures and mastering critical tasks.
- Maintaining and implementing safe work procedures.
- Communicates effectively with Supervisor and Project Manager
- Positive Attitude, welligness to help, and is team player
- Must be able to work varied shift start and finish times, working away from home is a requirement
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Heavy equipment operational experience is a must (Loader, Dozer, Compactor, Excavator).
- Willing and able to work away from home for periods of time on different projects
- Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Strong mechanical knowledge with respect to the maintenance, servicing and repair of transport vehicles
- Be fit for work every day
- Ability to communicate effectively and express thoughts and ideas in a clear manner
- Strong work ethic and ability to work long days
