Position Summary:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute successful outreach sales campaigns to increase the new client revenue sales for both MEI's public and custom programs. Generate and convert qualified sales leads to clients for all of MEI's programs.
- Responsible for the selling of our seminars to both B2C individual retail consumers as well as B2B corporate clients leveraging the use of multichannel methods to engage new participants.
- Create a sales plan for both public and customer programs that will deliver on or exceed revenue forecasts. Develop and execute a sales plan to increase the number of clients for our executive learning services offered by the Executive Institute.
- In consultation with the Director of MEI, codevelop the revenue/sales targets as well as budgeting and forecasting for custom/public programs.
- Responsible for inservice line design activities by codesigning with the clients their custom programs.
- Act as an advisor to corporate clients, guiding them through the Institute's learning programs.
- Collaborate in designing and implementing effective communication and selling strategies of the unit. Optimize sales funnel performance by utilizing data and analytics derived market information.
- Develop sales related collateral/promotional materials. Oversee direct mailing and other promotional activities to maximize program visibility and attract potential clients.
- Oversee customer service contact for program participants and is responsible for customer relationship management for new and retained MEI customers.
Highly motivated and creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future clients.
Proven experience in successful acquisition of new customers as well as implementation of online strategies through social media channels with sound knowledge of SEO & PPC.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with strong grammar.Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills with an ability to interact comfortably and competently with both business executives and academic faculty.
Team player who is capable of multi-tasking in a timely, organized and detail-oriented manner. Willingness to participate in the improvement of key marketing/sales tools and processes. Willingness to carry substantial customer service support that will involve travel and occasional weekends. Experience working with and leveraging the value of CRM systems. Ability to use data and analytics derived market information to optimize sales funnel performance. Demonstrated ability to work in a Microsoft office environment using word-processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software. Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 on a scale of 0-4.
