JOB DESCRIPTION*Reporting directly to the Department Cell Manager, the Field Operations Supervisor will oversee and manage all installation activities of the field staff involved in the execution of the work, which include technicians and sub-contractors.

The Field Operations Supervisor will ensure the safe, quality and efficient success of any projects they are assigned.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES*- Manage installation activities including sub-contractors schedule (OTD), technical support and installation instructions;

  • Ensure client satisfaction and resolve customer complaints in an efficient manner;
  • Ensure that project timelines and schedules are met and communicated to the customer and the sales reps (Ontime delivery);
  • Plan manpower and equipment needs for every project;
  • Approve the installation layouts and BOM;
  • Ensure installation and service policies and procedures are understood and reviewed with subcontractors;
  • Prepare and conduct effective training programs sessions to subcontractors and technicians to promote product standard and knowledge;
  • Monitor the quality installations of the products and services and Implement controls that ensure the standards are followed;
  • Complete site inspections on a regular basis to ensure the quality of each job, supervise workers and identify all training needs;
  • Cultivate relationships with employees, managers, and customers;
  • Ensure emergency response plans are adequate;
  • Collaborate with installation vendors to drive improvement to quality, capacity, and cost;
  • Act as a technical resource for our customers, technicians, and sales representatives;
  • Provide feedback to improve continuously installation department and company procedures;
  • Strengthen existing subcontractor's relationships and develop new ones;
  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills by providing guidance and support to staff in case of conflicts and workrelated issue;
  • Approximately 60% of travelling within the United States and Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • College diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering, building engineering, civil engineering or any other equivalent training;
  • Proven minimum 5 years' experience supervising field operations and managing service technicians and subcontractors;
  • Experience in material handling, desired;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Excellent organization, planning, and administrative skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills;
  • Problem solving and thinking strategically;
  • Good ability to communicate effectively in English, with team members in a complex and fast paced project environment;
  • Willing to travel 60% travelling.
