Airswift is working with one of our major clients to find an HSSE Trainer to join their team on a 2-year contract in Kitimat, BC (housing available for non-local candidates).

Reporting to the Production Training Excellence Lead, the HSSE trainer will, implement HSSE standards by initiating, developing, and execution of training and programs to build capability and improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency in line with the Safety aspiration for the asset team and contractors.

Provide HSSE training in alignment with overall training strategy for Asset and contractor as subject matter expertise.

Lead and manage the documentation, assessment, and certifications of employees and contractors including FLBM assessment.

Implement and evaluate HSSE expected outcome, with the use of HSSE training and behaviours through in-house and third-party training programs.

ensuring deliverables support the LNG Canada Learning Strategy and monitor quality and compliance, ensuring results meet specified standards and requirements.

strong business acumen including legislation, WorkSafe BC, policy and business objectives to align training to business goals.

of the concepts, principles, practices and techniques of learning and development, particularly in the context of Safety, adult learners, and workplace development.

experience to provide technical training expertise to stakeholders with a variety of learning styles and operational experience.

completion at the undergraduate level with a specialty focus in adult education or an undergraduate level with a certification in adult education or workplace learning.
