- TD Equipment Finance (TDEF), within the Specialized Finance Group of the Business Bank is a center of excellence for the bank where the primary role is providing equipment financing (leases and loans) to eligible business clients
Job Description:
TD Equipment Finance Audit and Compliance Officer provides support to the Credit, Operations and Sales teams at TDEF by managing customer files prior to funding and confirms that all documents have been obtained per the signed agreements in place and ensures they have been executed properly and compliance of TDEF procedures and the Bank's policies.
- The position reports to the Manager Audit and Funding and is accountable to deliver a superior customer experience, ensure compliance with policies & procedures and drive profitable business growth.
- Complete all compliance training and attestations within required timelines.
- Knowledgeable and comply with the Banks' codes of conduct
- Assist with Contribution to Profit (CTP) of the portfolio managing draws to approved pricing
- Identify, and actively participate in process improvements
- Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to change within business unit
- Adopting new process and technology improvements
- Ensure products are funded in a compliant manner minimizing the regulatory compliance and operational risk to the Bank.
- Maintain and manage funding TBO items for portfolio reporting
- Provide reporting and control functions by identifying errors and control weaknesses and assist in the development of action plans to reduce errors and minimize risk
- Contribute to the achievement of satisfactory audits
- Identify areas of risk and escalate emerging issues to the appropriate level
- Complete assigned duties accurately, with speed and within established standards
- Identify and report opportunities for improvement to support the customer experience
- Meet or exceed customer expectations for turnaround time
- Work closely with the Operations team to meet timelines for funding requests
- Assist to quickly resolve issues to deliver a positive customer experience
Requirements:
University Degree
5 Years Equipment Finance Experience Preferred
Bilingual an asset
