Operations Administrator - Mississauga, Canada - GardaWorld

Description

We are hiring an Administrator, Operations Support for our Secure Transport division at our Mississauga, ON branch.

What you'll be doing

• Logging/tracking of information using excel to ensure all data is up to date.
• Following up with crews to ensure all issues are dealt with in a timely manner
• Communicating with operations (management) on a daily basis
• Assisting shift supervisors with all other administrative tasks
• Coordinating with our fleet department to ensure all trucks are in working order
• Handling all customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the team to reduce overtime by seeking and applying scheduling knowledge
• Daily crews calls to ensure all route are on track and will be able to complete within their scheduled times.
• Use scheduling software to filling in the daily schedules ( day shifts) and assisting with scheduling if needed on nights.
• Ensure a high level of accuracy of data input into the scheduling program, ensuring that new or more accurate information is diligently input, and all input deadlines are met

What we're looking for

• Experience and/or knowledge in a logistical environment is a preferred
• Available to work overnight shifts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Attention to detail and ability to abide by operational and security policies and procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and make decisions quickly
• Ability to organize and prioritize work activities
• Strong teamwork and partnership orientation
• Strong critical thinking and active listening
