Hours

This is a temporary contract position to assist with a specific project, so the expected work hours will be flexible and determined by the needs of the project.

Responsibilities:

Duties:

Integration Solution Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement integration solutions that seamlessly incorporate CAN-Bus, Mod-Bus, D-Bus, and Node-Red technologies into our AC electrical generator controls.

System Optimization: Analyze system requirements and develop strategies to optimize the performance and functionality of the control system through efficient integration.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot integration issues or malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.

Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.

Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in CAN-Bus, D-Bus, and Mod-Bus protocols, with handson experience in integrating these technologies into control systems.
Extensive knowledge of Node-Red, including experience in designing and deploying automation solutions using flowbased programming.
Strong background in industrial automation, with a solid understanding of control systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with crossfunctional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or demonstrated related experience in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
