This is a temporary contract position to assist with a specific project, so the expected work hours will be flexible and determined by the needs of the project.


Responsibilities:


Duties:

Integration Solution Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement integration solutions that seamlessly incorporate CAN-Bus, Mod-Bus, D-Bus, and Node-Red technologies into our AC electrical generator controls.

System Optimization: Analyze system requirements and develop strategies to optimize the performance and functionality of the control system through efficient integration.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot integration issues or malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.

Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.

Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff as needed.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in CAN-Bus, D-Bus, and Mod-Bus protocols, with handson experience in integrating these technologies into control systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Node-Red, including experience in designing and deploying automation solutions using flowbased programming.
  • Strong background in industrial automation, with a solid understanding of control systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with crossfunctional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or demonstrated related experience in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
