Position Overview:
Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions (MDS) is one of the newest of Multimatic's North American divisions.
It is a supplier of suspension parts and welded assemblies to the automotive industry, manufacturing front and rear lower control arms, links, stabilizer bars and various welded assemblies in a modern 240,000 square foot facility.
Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions is looking for a
_Purchasing Buyer/Analyst_ who will be responsible for providing thorough data analysis to support the companies needs in accordance with company policies, customer specifications, provincial and federal laws, and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough segment research to identify potential suppliers, analyze industry trends, and assess market dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions that will feed into the Purchasing Strategy.
- Analyze pricing models, total cost of ownership, and value propositions to determine the most costeffective purchasing solutions without compromising quality or service levels. Prepare reports and/or communication regarding outcome.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to analyze and determine purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve business model efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimization through datadriven analysis and benchmarking best practices.
- Build & maintain strong professional relationships with the supply base & internal stakeholders.
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of a college diploma or a university degree.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management
- 35 years purchasing experience in an automotive manufacturing environment or similar the automotive industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Detailoriented with focus on accuracy and quality.
- An ability to work on own intitative
- A professional designation in Purchasing (i.e., CSCPM, SCMP,). Additional experience may be substituted for some of the above.
