Job Summary:

Location: Air Canada Executive Lounges in Quebec and the Maritimes

District General Manager oversees operations to meet short and long-term financial and volume targets, ensuring client retention and revenue growth.

If you were to join us as a District General Manager, your responsibilities would include:

  • Ensure adherence to Corporate retailing and purchasing standards by product category in the District
  • Work with the Controller to develop accurate district budgets and forecasts
  • Analyze financial statements for areas of profit enhancement and recommend strategies
  • Provide operational insights and identify business opportunities, ensuring proper ROI through thorough analysis
  • Educate operators on financial statements interpretation
  • Identify opportunities in existing accounts to enhance service and financial returns, optimizing asset utilization
  • Establish effective client relationships, understand client needs, communicate account progress, introduce new programs, and keep clients informed on relevant regulations
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys for customers, clients, and associates
  • Participate in sales activities, negotiate contracts, and approve new business projections
  • Enforce fair human resource policies, support employee relations, and promote a safe work environment
  • Lead recruitment, training, motivation, and performance management of the team
  • Maintain positive community relations
