We're looking for a

Product Marketing Manager (Learning Portfolio) who will be responsible for direct Learning portfolio ownership and other product areas of go-to-market activities throughout the product life cycle, defining product positioning by understanding the market, buyers and key competitors. In addition to owning a product portfolio, this position will work together with the industry demand generation team to help define and build key product messaging for industry GTM programs to support pipeline and ARR targets.


As a key member of the Marketing team, this role synthesizes information and serves as an internal and external evangelist and influencer.

Overall our Product Marketing Manager's responsibility is to ensure all BDRs, sales, and marketing teams are equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and information to properly position the Axonify solution, and are positioned to succeed overall within assigned industry verticals so we can continue to win in the market.

This role will also be expected to have a tight-knit relationship with all key stakeholders in their portfolio to ensure alignment and go-to-market success.


The impact you'll have:

Product Positioning and Messaging:Ownership over differentiating and elevating messaging of assigned product portfolios of the Axonify solution, by building strong stories for our buyers and customers. This also includes being the face of an owned product portfolio in the market. This could include delivering webinars to customers or relevant analyst briefings.

Industry positioning & GTM ownership:Working in tight collaboration with the Industry Program Marketing Managers, together you'll be the strategic force in crafting the vertical strategy and executing program plans to support pipeline and revenue targets.

Influential:Being instrumental in shaping our learning product go-to-market strategy, defining product and industry positioning while serving as the SME and internal connection between cross-functional teams for Axonify's learning product and other assigned industry or product portfolios.

Cross-functional collaboration:Collaborate with teams including product management, revenue teams (Sales, BDR Customer Success), industry demand generation and marketing.

Launches and releases:Deliver flawless product or industry GTM launches to increase product adoption and help to position Axonify for new logo growth across assigned target industries. A big focus will also be on exciting and targeted product naming based on market, competitive, and customer context.

Content Development:Supporting our marketing, revenue and enablement teams with content and resources that aid in bringing together the full story across the customer journey for assigned product portfolios. From an industry perspective; support industry-specific product-related content (webinars, blogs, e-books, web content, customer stories, videos, tools, collateral etc.) to put Axonify into context for the people we serve.

Research & Discovery:Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, customer needs and ecosystem landscape. Able to conduct customer research to capture and evangelize the voice of the customer.

Competitive:Own competitive insights for use in positioning against similar offerings from other organizations.

Reporting:Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market and communicate the results of related sales and marketing efforts.

  • Other duties as required. Note this could mean being assigned to other/changing product or industry portfolios based on needs of the business.

The things you bring:


  • 35 years of software marketing experience ideally with a minimum of at least 2 years in a product marketing role and formal product marketing training via PMA or Pragmatic Institute.
  • University degree from a business or technicalrelated discipline
  • Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and the GTM process as well as Pragmatic principles.
  • Background in working with integrations or partnerships in a product marketing capacity a bonusExperience in the fullstack marketing mix including market/competitive assessment, content and digital marketing/demand generation, marketing/sales collateral development and more.
  • Understand the B2B sales and marketing funnel and understand how businesses purchase software.
  • Able to both think strategically and roll up your sleeves and dig into the details.
