Custom Millwork Installer - Brampton, Canada - NEFF Beautiful living Inc.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Travel North America to some of the most prestigious homes to construct and assemble NEFF products.
- Ensure products meet project specifications, making any onsite field modifications required to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Read and interpret floor plans, shop drawings and specifications to doublecheck accuracy.
- Follow layouts provided to install kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, custom millwork, hardware, etc. in homes including crown molding and other trim / accessories.
- Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, belt sanders and shapers, and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components.
- Select and adjust cutting, milling, boring, and sanding equipment and tools for proper completion of the job.
- Repair and touchup cabinets damaged during delivery before installation.
- Demonstrating professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients.
- Fabricating Cabinetry (Only when not on job site):
- Build cabinetry while working from plans / drawings / instructions (fitting, joinery, assembling, and constructing custom cabinetry / millwork / countertops / furniture)
- Use power tools and hand tools in the manufacturing process (i.e. router, drills, nail guns, clamps, jig saw, belt sander, round sander).
- Build mockup units for supervisor approval and quality control (QC).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- Maintain and clean shop tools.
Requirements:

- Experience fabricating / installing cabinets an asset
- Experience in rough / finish carpentry in residential construction an asset
- Experience in carpentry hardware installation an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and overtime when required
- Read and work from plans / drawings / instructions
- Take instructions and delegation and work within a team
- Handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Good physical condition
- Strong communication/listening skills (English is a must)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel into the US once the Canadian and US border reopens after COVID restrictions are lifted
- First Aid Certification an asset
Job Types:

Salary:
$22.00-$38.00 per hour
