Blackline Safety is seeking a Team Lead to join the PCBA Production team. The position is full-time and is based at our Company's head office in Ramsay, Calgary.

We are growing rapidly, and this is role requires a motivated and talented individual who wants to work in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Production Manager - The Team Lead is responsible for the products manufactured on the Through hole Assembly line.

This position takes a lead role in providing guidance to Through hole assemblies and process improvement, best-practice set up, quality assurance, along with ensuring standard manual assemblies process at PCBA have been adhered to and acting as a point of escalation for quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble product at PCBA level
Scheduled and delegate staff assignments, workload
Perform Daily production chart updates
Perform daily auditing, ensuring standard operating procedures were followed
Responsible to train new operator
Attend meetings for major issues / concerns
Assume partial Process support role with the absence of Process Support engineering
Engage in developing standard operating procedures
Initiate problemsolving sessions to identify, resolve issues affecting line efficiency and quality
Monitor hourly and daily productivity to meet company's targets
Escalate quality or concern and stop production if required

Qualifications:

Experience in Through hole soldering and assembly with supervisory experience will be preferred
Ability to read and understand Bills of Material (BOM) and manufacturing process instruction
Knowledge of IPC610 Quality of workmanship
Mechanically oriented and possess above average attention to detail
Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to work towards achieving high levels of production and quality
Good written and spoken English
Good in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
Knowledge of inventory and ERP systems
Good leadership skill
