As a Supervisor of Construction, you will be responsible for all construction and field activities.

This includes project field execution such as:

hiring/managing Construction Managers and Inspectors, developing budgets for field support services, writing and managing work orders for field support services and oversee turnover of construction document to Technical Records.

What you will do:
Provides technical and operational leadership to a team(s) of construction project management professionals who provide a variety of related services to assigned internal client groups for a significant project by:

  • Identify, analyze, understand, manage and communicate risks to all members of the Construction and Engineering teams.
  • Coordinates the activities of the subgroups which make up the Field Management teams and responsible for liaison functions between the field and the Manager(s), Construction, Execution & Project Development.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all facets of the inspection engineering and surveying are carried out in a consistent manner.
  • Provide direct supervision to the Construction Manager(s) by assuring their extensive field presence and providing effective oversight to all the field services Contractors such as the Inspection, NDE, Survey and other Enbridge direct hired Service Providers.

Who you are:

  • University degree, diploma, journeyman certification and/or related construction or operational training and/or experience. 10 or more years of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze information, determine discrepancies, and resolve issues.
  • Effective leadership skills which include, cultivating a collaborative, hardworking teamfocused approach and inspire change in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, which includes written and verbal communication.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment. 25% of travel.
