You are a very organized team player who has experience in handling procurement and inventory management for a very complex supply chain.

At SCG Process, you will play a fundamental role in achieving company targets around purchasing and inventory management. You are responsible for maintaining effective supplier relationships and communicating clearly to ensure deadlines are not missed. You seek new ways to reduce and eliminate costs and maintain supplier quality.

About the Role:


  • Ensure production, sales, and service has all the equipment, material, and supplies they need.
  • Prepare and track purchase orders to ensure vendors are meeting the expected delivery dates.
  • Negotiate terms with supply chain and logístical providers.
  • Build, and maintain, relationships with external logistics providers for local and US shipments/deliveries.
  • Negotiate return of items to vendors and coordinate subsequent credits, refunds, or replacements.
  • Create production orders and transfer them into stock.
  • Establish and maintain controls for inventory part number creation and inventory database integrity.
  • Manage inventory minimum and maximum levels, evaluate, and adjust as required.
  • Maintain and manage inventory cycle count process.
  • Manage inventory value adjustment for depreciating working with the finance team.
  • Identify and manage opportunities for devalued inventory items to be promoted for sale within the sales team.
  • Maintain Operational KPI's with respect to inventory values, working capital, DOS.
  • Identifying nonconformances and being a part of the solution where applicable.
  • Make recommendations for improvements in policies and procedures.
  • Support the Aftermarket Sales Support Group as required.
  • All other duties as required.

Required Experience:


  • 5+ years of procurement or logistics experience.
  • Experience in a distribution or manufacturing facility
  • Knowledge and experience using an ERP system is a strong asset

From $55,000.00 per year
