Looking for general in shop assistant for our Vaughan Location. Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of work area, yard and equipment
  • Perform general duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • Perform measurements as directed by the supervisor
  • Move concrete panels within the shop and help loading and offloading with a forklift.
  • Assisting in the operation of equipment and ensure all duties are performed in a safe manner
  • Willing to work extra hours if required to complete tasks
  • Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

The qualifications for this position are:

  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Must have a valid forklift license.
- knowledge of basic power tools.

  • Previous Experience in an industrial factory / construction environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
  • Team player and able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Safety conscious
  • Must have own Safety Shoes

Experience:


  • Construction: 1 year (preferred)

Salary:
$20.00-$28.00 per hour


Day range:

  • Monday to Friday

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift
