Job Purpose

Responsibilities and Duties
The Client Relations Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries
  • Communicating with customers through various channels
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
  • Understanding and promoting company programs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer/retailer leads through warm calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Support external Sales Team when needed
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Assist in projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Office administration tasks
  • Other tasks as assigned by your Manager

Education Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent

Competencies

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant customer service and sales experience with a proven track record
  • Experience in business development considered an asset
  • HubSpot and Fishbowl experience considered an asset
  • Marketing experience considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the pet food industry an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Professional and welcoming demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail
